On October 18th, 2020, the Language Center at the University of Zakho started the Tawawkari English Language course. Due to the spread of Covid-19, the manner of delivery of the course was online according to the order from the Ministry of Higher Education. The course started on the 18th of October and will finish on the 12th of November 2020. Unlike the previous Tawawkari course duration, it was decided by the High committee that the course lasts for four weeks, and will be studied four days a week, and four hours per day. The platform used for the delivery of online classes is 'Zoom'. At our language center we have two levels of Tawawkari language course: Pre-intermediate and Intermediate levels. The curriculum for this course is 'interchange'. 

 

The language center also started the Ferkari English language course. This course is also being delivered in an online manner. It lasts for 6 weeks; it is also studied for 4 days a week and 4 hours per day. The curriculum for this course is 'Cutting Edge'. It is worth mentioning that currently two levels are being delivered at our center: Elementary and Pre-intermediate levels. Moreover, the total number of the enrolled participants in this course was 87.
