On Tuesday, June 22,2021, a group of lecturers from the University of Zakho participated in an online virtual session with JWL - Jesuit Worldwide Learnig.

During the session, a joint research proposal for university professors was discussed, entitled: (Stereotypes and its relationships with integration among youth community - refugees and host communities in KRG (Iraq)).

The research, which is being implemented by the professors (Jihan Hussein Omar, Shafeen Mahmoud, and Mustafa Abdullah), was accepted and the Institute will supervise its conduct.

It’s worth mentioning that the Swiss city of Geneva is the main center of the JWL Institute, and the institute aims to develop education, advance science and spread peace among societies suffering from war.
