The Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Zakho held a symposium on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan on April 4th, 2022 at 10:30 am. at Khalil Khayali, the Faculty of Humanities’ Hall. The event was attended by the representatives of the Union of Muslim Scholars, Awqaf Directorate of Zakho, lecturers, orators, along with a number of the university staff and students.

The symposium was composed of a series of seminars delivered by the aforementioned department lecturers focusing on the significance and holiness of the month of Ramadan.
