The University of Zakho participated in an international symposium which was conducted by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Soran on the natural oil and gas on Thursday, May 12, 2022. The University of Zakho was represented by Dr. Sherwan M. Silo and Dr. Ramadhan H. Sulaiman.

The symposium is considered to be the first of its kind at the level of the Kurdistan region and Iraq, in which various topics related to the matter of oil and gas, its development, and the problems intercepting the production and transportation were discussed.
