Today, June 14, 2022, a delegation from the language centre at the University of Zakho participated in a workshop on digitising the process of application for the language courses at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Following the decision made by the High Committee of the language centers headed by Dr. Mohammed Hussein Ahmed, the director of Quality Assurance Directorate, and Dr. Haseeb Salih Ismael, the coordinator of the high committee of the language centers, a digital system for the enrolment of the applicants has been created by the IT team at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research headed by Mr. Dastan. It is worth mentioning that the directors of the language centres along with one or two employees from the 14 public universities in Kurdistan Region participated in this workshop. From the University of Zakho, Asst. Prof. Mr. Ivan H. Murad, the director of Language centre and Sarmad S. Farhan, the employee of the language centre, participated in this workshop.

In this workshop, a detailed description and explanation on the digital system for the admission of the language centre applicants has been demonstrated and thoroughly explained by the IT team. The workshop lasted for two hours, during which many questions and comments were negotiated. At the end of the workshop, the directors of language centres thanked the IT team for their hard work and professionalism.
