Under the supervision of Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, President of the University of Zakho, and Dr. Sherzad Z. Mohammad, Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Department of Physical Education arranged a Chess Tournament at the University of Zakho. In fact, the tournament implemented the Swiss System, and twenty-two (22) competitors participated in the contest from various faculties and colleges. Eventually, the victors were triumphantly determined and awarded.
