A delegation from the University of Zakho, consisting of Dr. Karwan F. Sami, Vice President for Students Affairs, Dr. Diyar A. Said, Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs, Dr. Dler A. Jameel, Director of Quality Assurance, and Dr, Nizar I. Ali, Director of the International Relations Affairs, participated in a project entitled “APPRAIS” at the University of Murcia in Spain.

Moreover, eight (8) universities of the Kurdistan Region, the Ministry of Higher Education, and four (4) European Universities cooperated in the “APPRAIS” project.

Throughout the session, Dr. Karwan F. Sami delivered a statement from the University of Zakho regarding the significance of the project and the role of the university in the aforementioned project.

The project aims at developing the education level at the universities of Kurdistan and altering the high education system for improvement purposes.
