On Sunday, January 29, the President of the University of Zakho, Prof. Dr. Nazim S. AbdelAziz, participated in the commemoration of the 74th Republic Day of India, which took place in the city of Erbil. Many distinguished guests and prominent personalities graced the event by their presence.

 

The celebration was held by the Consulate General of India in Erbil, with a set of heritage performances and a review of the culture  of India and its most important achievements. A variety of Indian dance forms were performed and amused the gathering with their vibrant dance representing rich culture and diversity of India.
