On Sunday, February 5, 2023, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, President of the University of Zakho, and the university council received the team and members of the Kurdistan Innovation Institute (KII) at the Presidency of the University of Zakho.

The visit aimed at conducting numerous joint activities and signing a memorandum of understanding between the University of Zakho and the Kurdistan Innovation Institute (KII).

KII was founded on the initiative of Kurdistan Prime Minister H.E. Masrour Barzani, who is determined to encourage Kurdistan’s citizens, especially the younger generation, to pursue their ideas, establish their businesses, and imagine a better future.

The MOU consists of ‘8’ terms that support the ideas of staff and students seeking to invent or adopt a new project that can help the Kurdistan Region to embrace a new success.
