On Monday, February 20, 2023, Dr. Zhirwan S. Haji, Head of the Kurdish Language Department, and Ms. Fadya A. Khalid, Lecturer at the Department of Islamic Studies, participated in a meeting conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research concerning the reviewal of education programs and curricula in language faculties in universities in the region.

The event was conducted held the supervision of Dr. Mohammed H. Ahmed, Head of Apparatus of Supervision and Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and discussed numerous matters related to curricula in language faculties, namely: the reality of education in the faculties of languages, their plans, and ways to develop educational curricula.
