The College of Medicine at the University of Zakho participated in the First Scientific Conference of Kurdistan Doctors / Duhok Branch entitled: “Towards Professional and Safe Medical Practice”, which was conducted in Duhok on May 11-12, 2023.

An Elite group of doctors at the level of Iraq and Kurdistan participated in the conference. Throughout the conference, numerous scientific studies, presentation organization, and scientific discussions were presented. In fact, lecturers and students of the College of Medicine at the University of Zakho presented 5 research papers concerning the issues related to diabetes and corona pandemic. On the other hand, the conference dealt with the management systems of the health sector, its effectiveness, the satisfaction of the medical staff with it, and the development of appropriate solutions to improve the health situation.
