The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in coordination with the US Consulate in Erbil organized a meeting for Career Development Centers (CDCs) in Kurdistan Regional Universities on October 28-29, 2023.

Accordingly, all CDCs Directors were invited, therefore, Mr. Lawend Akram, Director of CDC at the University of Zakho participated in the meeting.

The meeting aims at establishing strong connections among CDCs Directors, encouraging idea sharing and fostering a collaborative partnership to serve university students better, as well as identifying the obstacles and difficulties they face and the role of women in determining the labor force.

 

Consequently, the meeting intends to establish coordination between the center and relevant parties and take advantage of available resources and projects, which are prepared by foreign and domestic organizations, which help to find opportunities for university graduates and encourage them to apply their skills in the free market.
