In the presence of the Director of the Career Development Center (CDC), Mr. Lawend I. Muhammad, the “Gender-Based Violence” course was launched at the University of Zakho on February 13, 2024.
The two-day course is organized by CDC in cooperation with IMC organization for university employees from different colleges.
In essence, the primary objective of a gender-based violence course is to empower participants with the comprehension and abilities required to help prevent and eradicate gender-based violence. It is essential for raising awareness, developing empathy, and building a society that respects and defends the rights and dignity of all individuals, regardless of their gender.
