The Physics Research Center director, Dr. Diyar Sadiq of the General Directorate of the Scientific Research Center at the University of Zakho, is delighted to announce the continued success of our collaborative research project with the University of Oldenburg in Germany. DAAD funds this initiative through the SOF-Praktikum program. As we enter the second year of this partnership, we are making great strides in nanotechnology and biomedical research. 

The program's second annual conference lasted from August 21 to 23, 2024. Key researchers and academics from both institutions participated. The conference provided a crucial platform for exchanging knowledge, presenting cutting-edge research, and planning future collaborations. In addition to presentations, participants also showcased posters related to their projects. The attendees from the University of Zakho who presented at the conference and displayed posters were:
