The (DASTPEK) project activities were launched on September 6, 2023, at the University of Zakho, by delivering a two-day workshop for university students and alumni.

The workshop discussed entrepreneurship and promoting students’ creative thinking, focusing on developing individuals ‘ leadership skills and sharpening their management and business skills necessary for achieving personal and professional goals.

Furthermore, the participants were from seven universities, they were divided and distributed into seven groups during which the students presented their creative ideas and productive projects. This workshop is considered an opportunity for the students to communicate, generate new ideas, exchange experiences, and raise the intellectual and cultural level of the students.

It is noteworthy that the project was held under the supervision of the German organization (GIZ), in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Commissioned by The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and The European Union (EO).
