Zakho for Kurdish Studies Organized a Seminar for A Kurdish Poet

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies at the University of Zakho Organized a seminar for the Kurdish poet Moayad Tayeb on the Poetic Language in Khalil Khayali Hall. The seminar was attended by the Director of the Center, faculty members, university staff, and students.

The poet conversed about the concept of poetry and the difference between poetic and ordinary language in terms of structures, utterances, and construction. Moreover, he shed the light on his experience in organizing poetry and the most significant challenges that a poet faces throughout his poetic journey.

At the end of the seminar, a question-and-answer session emerged and the poet was honored by the Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies for his literary efforts.
