A Lecturer at the University of Zakho Participated in a Research Visit in Europa-University/Flensburg in Germany.

The research visit took place at Europa-University/Flensburg and the participants included Mr. Khorsheed M. Rasheed, Lecturer at the University of Zakho, in addition to certain partakers from other universities in Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The Research Visit consisted of several seminars, namely: workshops, and visits for five days from the 24th -the 29th of October 2022. It included the German school system, cooperative and collaborative learning techniques, tools, including a workshop introducing some interesting digital collaborative tools, a workshop on disclusion, and School visits to observe interactions between teachers and students. Additionally, visiting the STUBBS project and Workshop with Dr. Lea Schulz in addition to Steering Group Meetings were tackled in the program.

It mainly aims to illustrate the role of inclusion and its implementation in the process of teaching and how it activates Special needs Education at the same regular primary school. Besides, it is also a practical part of the project that shows the cooperation and collaboration in which it also figures out the advantages and challenges during the implementation of Inclusive and Special needs Education in the same school.

It is worth mentioning that the project is funded by the German DAAD organization and the participated members were granted a certificate of completion.
