Physics Department Visited Zakho General Hospital

Under the supervision of Mr.Thabit Bashar, a lecturer of Medical Physics Module, on Wednesday, 28th of February, 2018, the fourth-year students of the Department of Physics visited Zakho General Hospital-Bedare in Zakho city. This visit was organized by the Physics Department University of Zakho in order that the students could view the medical equipment available.

Furthermore, students could observe how radiation safety is ensured by the hospital staff during routine work. This visit allowed students to understand how the medical devices are used in practice and provided the practical experience to underpin the theoretical knowledge that was taught during the academic year.
