On Thursday, May 3, 2018, the Scientific Team of the University of Zakho participated in a scientific competition "Esterekani Zanko (University Stars)" which was organized by K24 Channel in Erbil. The team won the first round of competition against the Team of Human Development University. The university team is expected to achieve higher levels at the competition and present a great role in representing the university.
