On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 10:00 am, under the auspices of Dr. Yousif Gora-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Zakho conducted a workshop on "Bologna System: Implementation, Challenges, and Suggestions".
The workshop was held in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameedl-President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Nazhdet Akrei-Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, presidents of Dohuk universities and institutes, deans of colleges and faculties, students and lecturers of the University of Zakho, and an accountable number of press media. In the beginning, the participants stood a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs of Kurdistan region then the workshop was started by a speech by the president of the university.
In his speech, he warmly welcomed the guests and talked about the Bologna system which is being used for two years at the University of Zakho.
After that, Dr. Nazhdet Akrei delivered the speech of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He thanked the University for organizing this workshop then showed his support to the activities of the university. Then the panels of the workshop started by a speech by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasin T. Mustafa-Vice President of the University for Zakho for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies after that seminars were delivered by Dr. Satar Jabar Haji, Dr. Ramadhan Mustafa. Another panel was delivered by Dr. Karwan Fahmi Sami-Director of the Statistics and ICT Center. In his panel, he deeply talked about Bologna System-Challenges and Suggestions.
At the end of the workshop, a panel was devoted to the opinions and discussions of the participants.
