On February 8th, 2020 and under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and authorized by his excellency the President of the University of Zakho Prof. Dr. Lazgin A. Jamil, Mr. Ivan H. Murad, the Director of Language Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Zakho and Waltham International College, London, UK. Subject to mutual consent, the areas of cooperation will include any programs offered at both institutions as thought desirable and feasible on either side and that both sides will contribute to the fostering and development of the cooperative relationship between the two institutions. Cooperation will be carried out through such activities as:

1.     Exchange of faculty and/or staff.

2.  Exchange of students.

3.  Joint research activities and publications.

4.  Participation in seminars and academic meetings.

5.  Exchange of academic materials and other information.

6.  Special short-term academic programs.

The terms of cooperation for each specific activity implemented under this MoU for cooperation shall be mutually discussed and agreed upon in writing by both institutions prior of that activity. The MoU lasts for five years and the period of exchange will be agreed in writing by both parties. Any such MoUs entered into, as outlined above, will form appendices to this MoU for Cooperation. 

The terms of the agreement may be changed or modified only by a written amendment signed by authorized agents of the parties hereto.
