On Thursday, the 14th of January 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at the Hall of the Faculty of Humanities, the Masters Thesis Defense of Mr. Ali Omar Ali, a postgraduate student from the Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Zakho, on Economic Activities of Dhimmis (non- Muslims) in Baghdad during the First Era of the Abbasid Caliphate from 766 till 861 took place.
